My first long distance trip with BYD Seal.
​Started from home at 7:00am with 100% battery level. Reached Ipoh (220km travelled) with 61% and reached Kamunting toll (286km travelled) with 50% battery level remaining. Had lunch in Taiping and stopped at Petronas Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah (Ipoh) with 32% battery level remaining (383km travelled). Quick top up 29% (32% to 61%) and reached home with 23% battery level remaining (total 599km travelled).
​Calculation 1: 50% get 286km, so 100% should get 572km.
​Calculation 2: 68% get 383km, so 100% should get 563km.
​Calculation 3. 100% + 29% - 23% = 106% get 599km, so 100% should get 565km.
​
​Driving condition:
​ACC setting at 110km/h
Air cond setting at 23c
Only driver in car (1 person only).

I am happy that it is very close to the claimed WLTP cycle of 570km.

I like your review, very honest and interesting but there is just one point which almost every Seal review I gets wrong....the AC temperature and fan speed can be controlled using the buttons on the steering wheel, with the graphic appearing in front of the driver on the 10 inch display. I have owned my BYD Seal 6 weeks now and it is a fantastic machine, best car I have ever owned but to fully understand the infotainment system takes a bit of practice.

I usually get around 550 km on a relaxed drive, using about 14 kWh. I could probably get 600 km if I really babied it.

How is the ground clearance on the high speed bump? Do you also know the convinience for driving and also for passangers on the back seat in bumpy or bad road? Esc if compare to BMW Series 3.. Thank you..
