ABRSM 2023-24 Grade 2 Piano Exam A1 - Ludwig Van Beethoven - Ecossaise in G Major

Finally starting the Grade 2 repertoire! DISCLAIMER: I used sheet music from a physical book that I had and when I went looking for a digital copy I couldn't find one that matched my version. I didn't realize how much variation there is in just the markings in sheet music!

I couldn't achieve the speed that is suggested. If you've seen any of my videos or read any of my posts you know that I struggle with tension in my right hand. I'm skeptical I'll be able to loose the tension and achieve the speed and fluidity required, but I'll keep trying.

I'm not a professional Pianist. I'm mostly self-taught with a few lessons here and there. I've played for over 10 years, but plateaued a long time ago without instructions. In an attempt to go back to basics and learn how to take things more slowly, I've decided to learn all the ABRSM pieces from the syllabus that I can get my hands starting with grade 2. I enjoyed the interesting harmonies in this pieces. Continuing to work on phrasing and slurs and the balance between my left and right hands. Let me know your thoughts!
