You could cover oil canning on the wider flat panels. It is looks very bad and is a significant factor.

I don't think exposed fasteners matter much if you do a rainscreen rather than butting the panels directly against the house sheathing.

I would like bright stainless steel we are moving in to a modern abstract kind of homes for people I have seen homes that look like mirror and I like then even the roof black charcoal reds blues sifi greens, ,wood rots metels can be heated up for such things as to kill bed bugs in walls or homes, ,,Vinal siding is something totally out, ,, and we are not pioneers any more, ,we dont need a little log cabin, ,, and wood grain appearance, ,,it is time to totally move in to the future of homes for people bright neon colors, ,and abstract shapes.
