My '77 Roadster uses the same viscosity oil in the transmission as it does in the engine. The rear end requires a sulfur-free 80-90 that won't eat the brass shims. I purchased both from Moss.

Nice work! Rusted bolts are an aggravation for sure. On the gear lube I would stick with old school Dino and stay away from synthetic. Those old synchros prefer the less slippery stuff. Check the labels, the less sulfur the better

Great videos. Im looking forward to the follow on episodes. Mine is non-overdrive and i just drive it. Sonwhat if the rpm is haigher than modern cars. I still get great mpgs.
