Very rare MGB... a 1965 model year built in 1964 with pull handle doors and a a 5 main engine... you scored !!!!
Congrats.
Mirrors were not installed at the factory.. Dealers offered choices at point of sale.

Here is something to check and a small but significant detail of the early Series l Cars..

Look closely at the front grille.
Are the vertical slats individually riveted or is the whole unit including the slats "pressed" from a single piece of metal.
If riveted, another rarity.. an original series l grille as is on my 1964. Rare as hens teeth these days.

That must have been a nice, dry barn, given how little metal-moth appears in it. Probably a good first full-car restoration, as there don't seem to be any serious challenges in there.

Lovely car own a 66 model worth upgrading electronic ignition and high torque starter motor probably overdrive unit as would have been an option then
