I have watched a ton of videos about the Xt1, and this has been by far the most useful video on this camera. A new subscriber. Thanks Ralf

Ralfs,

I clicked on "I like" and also want tell you many, many thanks for the patient calm with which you explain and talk.
Your English (it's almost a true Londoner, certainly is not American) is very understandable, for me it is easier to understand than many native English speakers and is also relaxing as well as informative.

Which Is the maximum number of shots settable for the time-lapse, is it perhaps 999?

I have the Fuji X-E1 with the 18-55, 55-200 and the various adapters for different lenses, I like it (it's one of the few cameras that has a monitor that does not yield miserably under full sun and is fairly well visible, but is fixed, non-articulated).

Now I'd like to also have this Fuji X-T1 because it is probably better as ergonomics, but having just got even Sony A7r, I do not think I would have many practical advantages with this new Fuji, if not a silent, light shutter that does not risk the camera shake, sometimes also on the tripod, blurring all the picture with a shutter under the T 1/160 ...1/100.
I don't want to say you that I have also other cameras ...
... by the other brands!

What do you think?

Hi Ralph. A very nice review and good tips. Are you close to the Danish border (Mojn in southern Jutland is a common local greeting)

Ralf,

Are you going to do a follow-up video about the new firmware coming in December 2014 that will add electronic shutter and other features?

Really enjoy your videos.

Great Video Ralf, and very good review on the benefits of using this Fuji camera. Although there now is a Fuji X-T2 with new features, the X-T1 is still ideal for most photographers. Since this video Fuji has brought out a 100-400mm XF lens. So maybe it is now OK for Sports?

Thanks Ralfs. but just one correction the X-t1 has got the electronic shutter aswell as the mechanical shutter. which can be found under the shooting Mode menu

Thanks for this great video, I have only one question regarding new FW4 AF modes.
In either Zone or Wide/Tracking modes, When half-pressing shutter release, sometime several autofocus points (green boxes) are highlighted in green showing they achieved focus - my question is: which one of those boxes the camera is actually locking into for the exposure ?
Sometimes there will be several boxes highlighted in a zone or wide/tracking - some will lock on objects in the front and some locked on objects in the rear - when I fully press the shutter release - which of those boxes is actually used by the camera as the focus point ?
Couldn't find explanation for this in all Fuji manuals
