Aww sorry, mate. The great Mister Orwell (aka Eric Blair) should have decided that penning the scarily prophetic story about a nightmarish future dystopia as a warning for all of humanity was a bad idea. Because it's clearly offensive or just plain tedious for the delicate sensibilities of the ignoramus contingent to have to endure. George Orwell should just have created a nice colouring book instead. Would you like to borrow some crayons?

The point of the book is a warning. And the fact your saying ignorance is bliss just proves Orwell right. Ignorance is not bliss because it is the reason this book is so depressing. Their oppressive government exists because it says freedom is dumb and ignorance is bliss. So you if you don’t want to live the book in real life you better wake up to reality.

The book is amazing, it recognizes the darkness within mankind and the corruption of absolute power. It was a warning and it describes everything coming into being now. Everyone should read it.

I would absolutely recommend the book 1984 as its a pretty good predictor of our future. We're totally living in a world that rejects biological and historical facts for emotional feelings. The book talks about how the media is also behind giving fasle information, the English language and terminology is being changed. The redefining and rewriting of facts, what is a woman? pregnant men? the sterilization of children, removal of god from schools only to be replaced with adult entertainment
You speak the truth about a certain topic that doesn't align with magical thinking and watch how fast your video or comment gets taken down.
