One of my pain doctors walked out while I was asking about a treatment option so he could get an early start on the weekend. I no longer accept Friday afternoon appointments.

After years of suffering chronic pain from severe degenerative joint disease, and eating mass quantities of opioids everyday, with little pain relief, I accidenty stumbled upon a very effective treatment. While filling a generator and spilling gasoline all over my garage floor, I started to feel somewhat lightheaded from the gas fumes. As I exited the garage to get some fresh air, I noticed that for the first time in years, I was nearly pain free. I have been huffing gasoline several times a day now, and my pain is completely manageable now. Not sure how safe or healthy it is, and I don't suggest that others try this, but it beats the heck out of living in excruciating pain 24 hours a day. It seems like, maybe with a little scientific research, a safe and viable pain relief treatment could be derived from whatever might be the active chemical in the gasoline fumes.

SNRIs (like Cymbalta) + acupuncture and pulsatile cupping to stimulate the vagus nerve can really help manage chronic pain
