How To Multiply 2 Recurring Decimals

In this video you will be shown how to multiply 2 recurring decimals. To do this first convert the recurring decimals into fractions. Once this is done you can multiply the fractions together to give the final answer as a fraction.

So in the example you are asked to work out 0.5 recurring multiplied by 0.18 recurring. 0.5555… as a fraction is 5/9 and 0.1888… as a fraction is 17/90. Now you can multiply these 2 fractions together to give 85/810, which can be simplified to 17/162.

7.7`+0.07'-0.0'7' divided by 7.78'4' . This fraction now mutiply by 0.7' then + 0.2'
(Note: the sign on the head ' means recurring. Couldn't find any recurring sign in mobile keypad. Sir my son reads in class 6. This sum is of him. I'll be greatful if you solve this for me.)

Oh no no no! U have taken the help of fraction( as 5/9). U have to multiply directly. Not help of fraction.
