Fantastic review. I’m fairly new to 3D printing and this is a machine that is completely out of my plans, but I am interested to learn about it. You brought up several issues that will hopefully be addressed in a future release and sensibly explained why they need to be made. You’ve earned my subscription. 😉

I believe a possible reason that that one model kept failing using the same supports is because the SL1S by default uses 0.5mm support points compared to 0.4mm on the sl1, so when you re sliced, it used 0.5mm points, and makes it work fine. I have the SL1S and that’s what i noticed

I really like the storage system you have for your airbrush and paints. I've never done any airbrushing and received an airbrush kit as a gift. Although it is not an Iwata, I think it will be a good starter kit to learn with.

The Prusa SL1S certainly looks like the best "bang for your buck". My MK3s is a great FDM machine but the SL1S appears to be the next machine that will get me into resin printing. How are the fumes? I have been hesitant in purchasing a resin printer to use inside the home due to the exhaust concerns from other makers.

im going to buy 1 SL1S or 1 Sonic Mini 8K.. i really cant make this decision for a month now.im so mad . SM8K's resolution makes me to buy it, i love Prusa products i want to buy SL1S but its' 2K screen may not be enough Quality for my 32mm miniatures..i dont know. i dont know what to do :(((

I can buy 11 AnyCubic Mono's for the price of the SL1S. More print area and faster printing. And an 8-10 week wait for SL1A.
