I have a nice plastic putty knife that I use to check the FEP and stir the resin between prints. Really helps to assure that there isn't anything stuck on the film and sometimes reveals the loose pieces of cured resin floating about. I love the idea of these upgrade kits and hope they become more common, but for the adventurous, you can find most everything you need from Chitu and Duobond on aliexpress or alibaba.

And any chance you might share your slicer settings in future vids. I am a fan of Siraya Tech Fast and would love to skip the calibration exercise once my Saturn arrives...or my X10-mono. I admit, I may have a problem but it keeps me safe at home and off the streets so win?

I forgot how huge the Phrozen Transform is. THat is such a nice upgrade, it is so big, wow. Those prints are so clean. Great video, Jessy and great content as usual. Keep them coming. I really want to figure out how to make the Creality LD-002R work on wifi.

Its nice to have an option like this for when the original screen does die. We just need a UI update/faster main board and we be golden.

Uncle Jessy, a project for you. I can't try for myself as I don't have a printer. Check if you can make casts with resin. Technically it should be fairly easy and need very little supports. A box and then boolean the castable bit inside to remove that shape and mass from it. Then bisection the box and add pour holes. Once done add mold release and cast.

I wonder if mono screens will come for the smaller printers. Would be a nice upgrade to pickup once the screens start failing

Upgrade kits on backorder until July 2021. Standard LCD replacements are sold out everywhere too, so now my' transform is just a $2, 000 paperweight.

Great video. I was wondering what came in the upgrade kit. Glad to see for the $900 you get a new frame and boards too. I was looking at a 3rd party monoscreen but the aluminum frame needed modifications to work. What were the default exposure times on the monoscreen? Thanks for the review.

I want that printer, but too rich for me right now, I got one of the Saturn preorders though so it should be a great compromise for now.

Don't buy a new printer, just buy a screen upgrade.
Imagine if Elegoo released a 4K Mono Screen upgrade for the Mars.
(might keep people content until Saturn gets in stock longer than 45 seconds)

I live my Sonic Mini with the mono screen. It's faster but of course it means you can print higher quality in the same amount of time as the other printers.

I was thinking of getting a Kelant s400 and then buying a mono screen ready for when the screen needs replaced. I wish Kelant would send you one to demo.

I’m curious how this machine is treating you now that you’ve upgraded the screen and have owned the machine for quiet awhile? I’m going to be buying either this or the Phenom as I don’t really see any others in this size range. Would you still recommend this machine? It’s primary use will be for prototyping. Thanks!
