The Sloth Bear kills more people annually than all the other bear species put together although the figure is distorted somewhat by the fact it lives in India were there are a lot of humans to encounter.Thus the Sloth Bear is generally classified as the most dangerous bear to humans.

Ok I'm going to reiterate what someone said in another comment. The Sloth bear should be higher up bc of it's aggressiveness and sheer will to fight off tigers whilst weighing under 400lbs.

I would have mentioned the Kamchatka subspecies of the brown bear, the largest on record is at 1480 pds, the average for the male adults is around 900 -1000... Almost on par with the Kodiak beasties.

Also, I think the Kamchatka, commonly known as the eastern brown bear should be at least top 5 as it can weigh anywhere from 900 to 1400 lbs. Aswell as being the most powerful bear in all of Eurasia

I know someone who scalp was ripped off by a sloth bear, I’ve also seen one in the wild. They are definitely in the top 5 at least. They are hard to see in their environment and leap from trees to hunt

Sun bear is my favorite ever since i saw a zoo keeper feeding and petting it as it stood up about 5 feet tall. Im sure we could breed them down to medium dog size and keep them as pets.
