Bears possess great strength, and one excellent example of this, is the powerful Kodiak Bear. Kodiak Bears are enormous, muscular, hefty creatures. But how strong are they compared to other bears?

As one living in Kodiak, its always exciting to see a bear wondering the beaches and trails . . . At a distance.

Doesn’t matter which is the strongest. I love them all. Beautiful animals that need to be protected.

Wow 😮 the strength of a Kodiak Bear is truly mind-blowing! 🐻 This video does an excellent job of comparing their power to other bear species. It's incredible to learn about the unique adaptations and sheer force of these majestic creatures. Nature never ceases to amaze.

Wonder did the Kodiak ever clash with the Short Faced bear back in prehistoric times long before any human set foot in North America.
Now that would have been a real battle.

We'll never really know which species is the strongest until we know what they can bench press.

i visited Alaska and flew in on a float plane to a very remote area to view bears. our group was hiking on a trail and there was a Kodiak about 20 yards off in the brush. i was in awe at how big the head was. I remember thinking that it could probably crush a human skull with little effort. its face look to be about the size of a garbage can lid.

Being that grizzlies and polar bears have crossed paths over the last decade and grizzlies kill or drive away the polar, it’s pretty safe to say that Kodiaks would have the same results.

I know there are people that believe a tiger can beat a kodiak but there is no way.

Your not doing them justice with stats. Kodiak bears can reach nearly 11 ft and in rare cases 2000 pounds or more ... say it all please or don't say it. Clyde is one example 2200 pounds 10 ft.

I have seen a Kodiak less then 15 feet away, we was in a small box barley fit two of us, he couldn’t see us but he could smell us, and just seei g and hearing him trying to smell us I could feel his nostrils move 😂, it was quite amazing and thrilling. I was terrified and excited all at the same time 😂

I'm the aspect of the polar bear, they live in solitude, and usually shy away from battling another bear, where Kodiak bears jostle for hunting ground, and fight more frequently.

In that case I'd have to lean towards the Kodiak, for the nature of its persona in its habitat

The Kodiak is easily the strongest of any bear. Polar bears are obviously very strong but there's a reason why grizzlies and kodiaks have that huge hump where their shoulders are and a polar bear does not. It's for power. Horsepower for flipping boulders and logs and everything in between. Not even close.

I put my money on the Kodiak, because the Polar has a lot of blubber to keep it warm, so muscle mass, it will go to the Kodiak.
