I’m a retired independent Texas licensed insurance adjuster, I worked storms all over the nation and was certified By the NFIP to work flood. What your man on the ground failed to identify when he said that these people are gonna be fine, and it’s not gonna cost him a lot of money. He is dead wrong. If those people are not on the NFIP flood map they can’t even buy insurance for flood. If they have flood insurance, the max coverage is $250, 000. And there is a great deal that flood insurance does not cover. Of course anyone who’s ever been in a flood knows that what I am sharing here is accurate and true.
