Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga thrilled fans with a special performance of their new single, "Die With a Smile," during Mars’ Los Angeles concert on August 15. The duo, both 38, made their debut of the song, with Mars playing guitar and Gaga on the keyboard. Gaga dazzled in a tall blonde wig, a sparkling plaid mini dress, and white heels, while Mars opted for a pink collared T-shirt and black pants.

The performance took place in front of a star-studded audience, including Jennifer Lopez, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Meghan Trainor, and Halle Bailey. Hours after the live debut, their single and its music video were released on August 16 at midnight ET.

The track features lyrics about enduring love even in apocalyptic scenarios, with the chorus highlighting a commitment to remain together no matter the circumstances: "If the world was ending / I’d wanna be next to you.”

Rumors about a collaboration had been circulating, especially after Gaga shared an Instagram video wearing a Bruno Mars T-shirt. The collaboration had been hinted at when Mars expressed his desire to perform with Gaga during their overlapping Las Vegas residencies.
