You are so right! I’m grateful I couldn’t jump in and install a garden right away. The time I spent just watching the seasons go by, and thinking about where things should go was invaluable. I still made mistakes but they weren’t too bad. I did move a few perennials & shrubs around- it’s worth the work for them to be happy.
