Haha! I love the 2023 super soft. Green seems to scuff less than the white ones. Great feeling off the putter face and chipping around the greens. Great low compression ball for my 78 year old swing. Drove some great strikes down the fairway off the red tees. lol Just ordered a case of green ones from Amazon. Economical price too.

I hit a drive the other day I didn't know where it went. Pro V 1 I decided to hot a provisional which flew to within 75 yards from the green on a par 4. As I made my way down the fairway, my first ball was in the middle about 130 yards to the green. As I looked ahead at my Callaway supersoft provisional . Of course I played the first shot, but switched balls after that and consistently drove the ball much further. They also feel great off the putter

I played Callaway supersoft yellow for the past 3 years. Very consistent, great feel around the green, almost as long as Pro V1, and 1/3 the price. They do get scuffed up more quickly from the bunker or cart path strikes. Now that I'm a 6 handicap, I've switched to ProV1x yellow. Only because I'm losing way less balls, so the price difference no longer is a factor and the ProV1's don't scratch up as easily. I played my last ProV1x for 84 holes and then I got rid of it because it was pretty torn up, didn't lose it. Seriously, if you're shooting 90-100ish golf, go with the Callaway SuperSoft, can't beat the performance for $25/dozen.

Callaway had this problem 3 or 4 years ago. They spent so much money to improve quality control. Looks like bad habits are creeping back.

My wife typically plays the Supersoft and shoots around 105-110 on average. I bought some of the Chromesoft off the Good Good site for my son-in-law for Christmas, and she wanted to try a box because she liked the logos all around the ball (she chooses her ball based on looks 😂). Lo and behold, she shot her best round ever on Saturday with a 92. She’s convinced it was the ball and not the fact that she wasn’t chunking her shots all over the golf course. I guess we’ll give it some time 😉

Thank you for the confirmation. I was playing Supersoft and changed to the Titleist Pro V1X left dash, to improve dispersion rate. I am sure it has taken a stroke or two off of my score. When you hit it straight, it should go straight.

Mygolfspy revealed that Callaway's Chrome Soft had off center cores about 4 years ago. Callaway says it spent 25 million dollars to re-tool their ball plant and eliminated the inner core of their golf balls and went to multi-layer covers like Titleist. I do believe that you have stated in prior videos that you cut open found golf balls. If that is true in this case, the ball you cut open may be the old version.

I work at a golf course. I’ve said it many times. CALLAWAY SUPERSOFT IS THE MOST LOST GOLF BALL IN GOLF. Now I’m understanding why.

Why is this a "scandal"? The supersoft is half the cost of the Pro v. Doesn't the adage "you get what you pay for" mean anything? And one has to be at best a ten handicap, and younger than 65, to be able to compress a Pro v. Anyone older, who has a high handicap is wasting his money buying a Prov.

I've been playing with the Supersoft for years now. I love them. I just realized I have a brand new box of matte red I'm going to cut some open and seek some compensation.

Does that mean I can blame yesterdays appalling 110 score on the virtually new Callaway Supersoft I scooped out of the pond last week and not my brand new custom fit Ping driver, irons and wedges? (Please say it was tha balls fault!).. 😂😂😂

Supersofts are not part of the balls that use "precision technology", thats only on their chrome line.

Yeah right, I've been playing Supersoft for a couple years now. I'm capable of shooting 85 to 95 with them so it's never the balls fault. I'm certainly not going to stop using them just because Jeff is hungry all the time...
