Our small family visited the gorgeous North Yorkshire coast, with its dramatic landscapes, beautiful coastline, picturesque villages, and harbours. Going to the north allowed us to avoid the crowds, enjoy the British summer, and sometimes have a place to ourselves. I had forgotten how beautiful that area is.
We went rock pooling in Robin hoods bay, found lots of marine life, and even found some fossils in Staithes!
We managed to do this trip on a budget and stayed in the area for free as we did a pet sit. Accommodation adds a huge amount to a holiday (especially these days) so by eliminating it, we can limit our costs of travel...bonus!
