With every heartbeat and every stride, Metro Group of Hospitals proudly served as the dedicated medical partner at Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024, held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Metro Hospitals ensured the safety and well-being of over 36,000 runners. Our exceptional team of 400+ healthcare professionals, drawn from five Metro hospitals and colleges, worked tirelessly to provide unwavering support every step of the way.
Highlights of Medical Base Camp
- 400+ healthcare professionals on-site for support.
- Medical base camp with 47 beds, including 7 critical care ICU beds.
- 12 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ambulances for rapid response.
- 10 medical aid stations strategically placed along the race route.
- Provided medical attention to over 5,000 runners during the event.
Dr. Sameer Gupta, Co-Medical Director, emphasized, “Our medical team underwent rigorous training for four months, preparing for every emergency scenario runners might face. Our diverse clinicians provided comprehensive care throughout the event.”
