Love the show so much but I'm not a fan of the new format sadly. I really enjoyed hearing the guest list off their meal choices in the beginning. It felt more personal to the guest like they were specifically asking for these things. Thenew format feel a lot more like Josh just presenting foods they like to them. Love the show and the whole channel tho!!

What she says about her grandmother's soul coming back as sometimes a butterfly, sometimes hummingbird, makes sense to me. I'm Filipino American myself, and I was taught as a child that my mother's people believe that everything had a soul, before the colonizers came. Every blade of grass, every tree, every animal, they all have a soul. And yeah, we believed our ancestors speak within us and speak to us through the birds and the insects primarily, but other animals as well.
