"For the players, this was the buggiest game of the month, for Riot it was Wednesday."

I encountered this spaghetti from a game earlier but it had the additional parmesan of giving Twisted Fate 1 million gold

The amount of times things deal billions of damage is way too suspicious, they can't input wrong numbers on a daily basis that easily can they?

In Arena, everything is so broken that this could have gone unnoticed perfectly

I love the way Sett is not impressed at all at this point, he just casually says "uh, I got executed"

My best guess is that it's something to do with the dashes, at least here is my theory on what it might be:

1: Spellwake detects the caster and the targets locations, drawing a vector from the caster to the target and tries to then make the spellwake in game.
2: The caster and/or the target move too far from the initial location where the spellwake was drawn and the game thinks it's invalid, trying to remove it.
3: The game remakes the spellwake to try to correct for the position, not removing the damage from the initial spellwake, which the game might have stored under a specific value.
4: Finally, the game takes that value, plugging it into spellwake where the normal scaling should be, leading to absurdly high damage values due to this process presumably happening a few times.

I'm probably completely wrong, but this feels like something that would make sense from a programming perspective.
