Touchscreen Tutorial 1: Create your own custom embedded linux distribution for Raspberry Pi 4

This the first tutorial in a series of tutorial to demonstrate how to professionally deploy Qt or any other GUI applications on the Raspberry Pi 4. In this tutorial we will create a custom linux distribution using Yocto and boot the Pi with it. This is to get our feet wet with Yocto and prepare for the forth-coming tutorials where we create a feature rich light weight embedded linux to deploy our application.

For people watching this: To expedite the build process, give your virtual machine half the cores of the host machine. You can see at the 5:35 mark in the video, that the bitbake scheduler is only using one core here...which is why it took him 5-6 hours to build. On my five year-old i7 machine with four cores (eight threads), it took less than three hours or so when I give the VM two cores (four threads). I used Ubuntu 20.04 in the VM.
