Great video! Many applications for this not just canyoneering. I was lifting an 1100 lb transformer using 4:1 advantage and searched on google until I went insane to find out what the load on the anchor would be.

Rich, this is a nicely done video covering the basics of mechanical advantage and friction. The demonstration on the Munter hitch load on the anchor was especially interesting; could have an application in rigging / rescue In any situation where you want to lessen the load on the anchor.
