I want to say THANK YOU! I was about to take my old desktop to a repair center, but your suggestion to run sfc/scannow appears to have put it right. Apparently it fixed some corrupt files. Saved me time and trouble (this old girl is not made to be portable). Thanks again!

Getting this intermittently. It can be in gaming or just on the desktop, really annoying. No diagnostics find anything.
I'm sure it started after one of the big windows 10 updates. So many people are getting it with so many hardware combos it has to be OS related.

I'm thinking of installing Windows 10 LTSB (the hard to get version with all the crap removed and no "feature" updates).

My issue occurred after opening dayz. I've uninstalled it now but usually it happens when I quit games or shut the laptop down. I'm in the latest gpu drivers so I don't understand

So ram diag is fine, ram checked and all of them are fine, I have 2x GTX 780 updated to the latest drivers, I checked them both they're fine hardware and software... I still get the blue screen. Virus none, windows fresh ... happens on some games. i.e FiveM (GTA 5 Mod), For Honor and that's it. This blue screen occurs once the PC is opened after few hours. After I get this blue screen once everything settles and never blue screen unless I close my pc for a number of hours. (Example: I play for like 30 minutes For Honor, I get the blue screen after the bluescreen reboot I can go back in game and game for hours without any problems.)

Mine was doing the same thing. I called HP and got it solved quickly. I was given a driver update and that took care of it. It's not the ram.

I get the memory_management stop code mainly but also bad_pool_header and another one that I can't remember. It's driving me insane.

Please guide me.
in my new pc it often crashes....Im getting
stop code - kernal security check failure,
memory management,
dpc watchdog violation.
I ran the memory diagnostics tool- hardware problems detected.
Only the ram is fault or the gpu are also?
