Yummy! I've done similar and added frozen mixed veggies.

I would maybe add frozen broccoli in the mix and a bread crumb topping for that last half hour of cooking. Looks simple and tasty!

Could you mix the cream of chicken soup and the water together so that pouring it is easier? I sometimes have the same issue distributing the thick soup evenly in dishes like this - but I'm worried that could somehow mess up cooking the rice.

I make this but I mix my soup, rice and water then put the chicken in. I feel like it’s so much easier that way
