July 12, 1993 Kathy Eldon's life was forever changed when her son, #DanEldon a photojournalist and activist, was killed by a mob in Mogadishu, Somalia. Dan's life and commitment to creative activism inspired Kathy along w/her daughter Amy Turteltaub to start the Creative Visions Foundation and help activists receive the awareness and support their respective causes deserve.
