You could also set 29 as (30-1) and 30 as (30+1), then by difference of squares you would get 30² - 1, the ones cancel out and then the power and radical cancel.

You could also use the difference of squares: (30+1)(30-1)+1 = 30^2-1^2+1 = 30^2.

sorry, you ignored "order of operation." don't you think you had to first multiply 29 by 31 and then add 1?

Ah, I just realized something.

It's weird but three consecutive numbers have this weird relation. For example, 5 6 7.

5 x 7 is 35 but 6² is 36. So if we do this with 29 30 31, 30² is 900, therefore 29 x 31 should be 899.

That's mean if 29 is negative then we have 29-1= 28 so it's positive so that's reason it's 29+1=30
