IRATA/SPRAT Level 1: Passing Knots
Показать описание
Knots may be tied mid-rope, either to isolate minor damage or to join ropes of insufficient length. They complicate access egress and rescue and reduce the strength of the rope so it's not good practice to leave existing knots in place on working ropes. However, knots may be used as a temporary solution. This video will demonstrate how to pass mid-rope knots in both ascent and descent modes.
This RIG video series covers exercises and skills required for both IRATA and SPRAT Level 1 certification. All techniques and exercises should be practiced under the supervision of a certified trainer.
