My personal experiences with GOAT have been good so far. There has been two times now so far where my shoe that i had bought was either, "damaged box" or the shoe itself was scuffed and the authenticator has emailed me about it asking if I like to get a new pair or buy them for a lower price that the seller has agreed to. Both experiences happened in 2022 so there is the possibility that their authentication process has gotten more serious since Jay said he had issues with them in 2021. Who knows though all the pairs I've bought from GOAT have been legit but it could be the luck of the draw

I cop my pairs off eBay. I like that I can see photos of the exact pair I’ll be getting and not some stock photo of the shoe. As well as being able to contact the seller and see their selling history. I haven’t had any issues all my pairs have been on point

I no longer use StockX and recently started using GOAT and my new experiences with GOAT have been great. when i was using StockX to buy my stuff i never ran into any problems with them

Even if stock x sells Authentics they have definitely sold me shit b grades at full price. Only one I trust is eBay bc you can see the shoe for yourself

StoccX has canceled a few of my orders for not passing authentication I assume they have a strong process in place but I also use eBay and GOAT and I have never been done wrong this far

I've bought from a few different third parties, but I have to say GOAT has been my go to since about 2020/2021.. and i've bought a couple pairs from eBay and I've had no issues.. I've had a total of 3 pairs out of like the 70 i've bought from GOAT that had an issue but GOAT caught them each time and resolved the issues for me.. StockX was easily the worst.. I got two fakes and sent them back and I had two other pairs take like six to eight weeks to get to me.. Thanks for the video Jay TSG!!

Thank you so much for the informative and helpful video! What is your perspective/experience regarding sneaker purchases through eBay, specifically employing their ‘Authenticity Guarantee’ program? Have you received any fakes through their site? Or only through StockX and GOAT?
Also, what is your perspective on Flight Club? Is the site trustworthy, or do fakes show up there, as well?

Speaking of those Scott’s in the thumbnail, I have a homey that got lucky and got them early on for like $450. I had been arguing with someone on YouTube about UA’s for like a week and finally i decided to get the bottom of his BS. So I took a spare $120 and went to website he recommended and got the reps. I was thinking before I open the box, let’s see this trash. When I tell you I couldn’t believe my eyes. So I was thinking let me take these to the homey who happens to have the same size of a legit pair to compare. On God we couldn’t find a single difference. From color, to details, and it even passed the black light test. Even the box and the paper were dead on. I haven’t wore them yet or bought any other reps but that opened my eyes.

Mannn I’ve been thinking about this for a minute now, I’ve spent thousands on StockX and GOAT and expect my shoes to be authentic but like you said we take that chance when we buy off these resell apps. Great video as always💰💰💰

I've only ever purchased one pair from StockX, a couple of months ago. International order.
Customs suspected it was fake and requested an inspection from a brand attorney. UPS arranged their brand attorney to check the shoes. Confirmed fake. An affidavit was apparently drafted but I did not see it.
They said they would dispose of the shoes. When I asked for my money (duties) back, suddenly they sent me the shoes.
A local reseller has now also confirmed them to be fake.
I did get a refund from StockX including shipping charges. And they offered me a coupon code for $100 (but did not send it). No doubt that countless fakes are getting through their system.

Not to mention StockX has canceled multiple orders on my behalf because the shoe I was supposed to receive didn’t pass authentication. Idk I think they have strong check and balances in place
