Why I’m NOT SELLING My 3RD Generation Toyota Tacoma For A Jeep Gladiator!

Time to go over why I'm keeping my 3rd generation Toyota Tacoma!! Today I talk about why I'm not getting the new Jeep Gladiator. It is definitely an awesome truck and I loved getting to check one out and drive it, I love how it's a wrangler just with a bed on the back, and you can still take the doors off and all of that. But after checking one out and looking at the prices, it didn't make sense to get rid of the truck and spend almost twice as much for the Jeep gladiator. For that kind of money, you are in the Ford Raptor territory and I'd rather have that truck for the price. The Toyota Tacoma has been such a great truck and I really don't see a benefit of the gladiator other than the solid front axle. Both of these trucks would do very well offroad, but to get into a gladiator that's similar to my trd offroad, I'd have to spend a lot more money and I just don't see it being worth it.

Lol 1) Ceramic won’t stop scratches. 2) Your running 33’s try running 40’s then come make a video. Nuff said. Gladiator blows away the Tacoma in off-road capability 40’s and a 4.5” EVO lift would go places your Tacoma only dreams of. And I own Toyota’s. I will be trading my Tundra Platinum on a Diesel Gladiator.

I work for a chrysler part supplier, so i get a discount on jeeps. With that being said i just bought a brand new tacoma because chryslers quality is just going downhill and toyota continues to provide durability and reliability. those jeeps just dont last.

I can respect keeping the Taco for creature comfort features and a rear locker. Convertibles with with 4wd standard won't ever be cheap. 🤷‍♂️

It’s not a matter of people not wanting the Gladiator but just didn’t want to see the Tacoma be trade for it. But if you were to keep the Tacoma and also have a gladiator, now people would love that.

20k more for a bone stock Gladiator is a bad idea. 20k into your Tacoma will surpass the gladiator. Let’s be honest, you will want to mod the gladiator so that is more money out of your pocket while the Tacoma will be ready to go! Great decision by keeping the Taco!
