Nasal steroids are commonly prescribed for inflammatory conditions of the nose and sinuses (incl. Rhinitis, Rhinosinusitis, and allergies). To get the most out of your medication you need to know how to use it correctly.

Thank you for this very informative video. I have been plagued with nasal mucus since this last christmas (2024), and have now been given Beconase Aqueous Nasal spray. Your video method seems to make much more sense by pulling your nasal entrance out and slightly downwards rather than blocking the opposite side by pushing against not only that nostril entrance but also closing up the side that you're spraying somewhat, Why do they always tell you to do this when, to me, it seems logical to use the technic you show, now that I have seen it and tried it with success !

Used exactly as you said. When i prime, i hear the 'spray' noise. When its up my nostril, i dont hear it, even though im pressing correctly. So...i dont know if its gone up and sprayed...its really tricky medication nasal spray to use and i never know if its getting to where it

I got it prescribed because I have a nasal polyp. Should I just press the polyp back as well and then spray or do I have to move it out of the way?
