Noteful have all the same features to that of good notes or notability . - in noteful u will get, search, handwriting conversion, zoom and what not .

1) Excellent and comprehensive overview. 🎉 Kudos to Ropsie and her team. 👍🏻

2) Zoom and handwriting. Fantastic human and amateur calligrapher here. 😊 I learned in calligraphy that if you write as neat as you can and larger—it will look better when you reduce the size. The key is to write large and neat in the first place. If you scribble, then writing larger and shrinking it later—your handwriting will not make a difference. BTW—don’t believe you need a specific zoom tool. Pinching works for me. Finally, the fountain pen feature is terrible—from a calligrapher’s standpoint—nothing replaces ink on paper☝🏻

3) Layers (IMHO) is the most useful feature for the work I do. Flash Cards is not useful to me since I’m not a student so I never have a need. Tape: not sure how I can use it so “undecided” for me.

4) Appreciate Notability keeps a clean interface as it adds on more features.

Fantastic detailed review, and glad to see the hate for this app has diminished since it switched to subscription. It really is well worth it IMO, especially with the math conversion and latex code options. Plus the ruler is a god-send- I teach an Optics course in physics, and over half of the material is about geometric optics. The ruler allows you to trace rays with super ease and accuracy.

Thank you for this video. However, you showed us everything that Notability can do, but you did not show us how to do it. You did not show us selections, drop-down, menus, variations, etc. Do you have a YouTube video that demonstrates HOW to use Notability?

Thank you very much for taking the time to compile all this information - *very* useful! I wanted to click away after learning about the subscription model, as in absolute terms, $1 per month is not really expensive. But, on the other hand, $36 for an app I only use occasionally over three years sounds steep...
For someone who uses the app on a daily basis, it's probably one of the best notetaking apps.

Hi, I’m a bit confuse because I can’t add weblink at all anymore, my version is: 14.2.1. There is no place where to add it from (there is no + or media button in my version) and my version is differenf outlook than yours. I used to have same kind view than you but not anymore. I have bought my notablity 2016 and it should be life time lisence. I’m in trouble with this. Thank you let me know how thing are.ˆ

Hi, Ropsie: Do coloured templates take too much space in Notability? I downloaded a beige notebook template from the gallery, and used it. But the file size increased a lot. Is it possible to use coloured templates without increase file size dramatically? Thanks.

I want to write with 4.5 mm thickness of pen in nobility.

My cursive handwriting looks worse with the Zoom tool in every app, as well. I've come to the conclusion the Zoom Tool only works with print handwriting and not with cursive handwriting, which just looks odd and squashed.
