This makes me SO sad. Where was the Lord in all of this? In the decision to divorce? The bible says the Lord HATES divorce. Was the husband a believer?? Was there adultery? if not, there was no biblical reason to divorce. The Lord forgives but does not "wink" at sin. There are always consequences for disobedience. We think we know best, but we do not. We only see "part" of the whole picture. Marriage is not meant to make us happy, it was meant to make us holy. Divorce is the result of selfishness and arrogance in most cases unless there is abuse or adultery and with adultery, there is no command to divorce if the person is repentive. I was that man. I committed adultery and lost my first wife. God forgave me, but there will always be the memory of my failure and the consequences of a broken family. My kids suffered, she suffered, and I suffered (and the other woman suffered) for a short-lived "thrill" that was empty at best. We need to honor the Lord, No. Matter. What. Our lives are not our own. We were bought and paid for with the precious blood of Jesus. We owe the Lord our love and obedience. :)

I realize now what I was doing but I’m not perfect neither is my wife I truly agree when you marry someone you devote your life to them it’s biblical you just don’t run off break up a family because of the way you feel is selfishness unless certain reasons that we’re stated in the comments. I hope and pray I would rather rebuild than start over bring more problems into another marriage and have broken family’s .
