This is so refreshing. I’m a school-teaching working mom (who works with my toddler in tow!) and am exhausted. I feel the enormous weight of managing a home while also taking care of my husband and child, and being faithful in my career. I do the same thing when collecting hair bows around my house. Only I wear head wraps everyday and clip them onto my wrap…and then forget they are there…until I look in the mirror at the end of the day and remember that I got groceries with a psychedelic rainbow on my head 😂😅 🤦🏽‍♀️

Love you so much! and appreciate it that you show other mums that the chaos is just the normal with kids, and that we collect and clean, collect and clean, collect and clean ...and still there will be chaos again ;)
In those houses and cars, where it is never chaotic and no crumbs, dirt, whatever, this status is kept up with methods that have severe side-effects.
After 20 years the kids will not remember the chaos on some days but the adventures, the huggs, the love in your voice and that you have been there for them.

Whoever judges a house or car of parents with small children, can roll up their sleeves or go somewhere else.
