Logan is a 2017 American superhero film, produced by Marvel Entertainment, TSG Entertainment and The Donners' Company, and distributed by 20th Century Fox.It is the tenth installment in the X-Men film series, as well as the third and final Wolverine solo film following X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013). The film, which takes inspiration from "Old Man Logan" by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, follows an aged Wolverine and an extremely ill Professor X defending a young mutant named Laura from the villainous Reavers and Alkali-Transigen led by Donald Pierce and Zander Rice, respectively.
The film is directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Green and Scott Frank, from a story by Mangold.The film stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, and Dafne Keen.[10][11][12] Principal photography began in Louisiana on May 2, 2016 and ended on August 19, 2016 in New Mexico. The locations used for Logan were mainly in Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi.

Logan in his prime would've massacred those henchmen and walked away unscathed. This scene is absolutely amazing, but it's a bit sad to see Logan so weak and tired.

I love how Hugh Jackman made Logan more animalistic in his action sequences in this film opposed to the past films. Wolverine is more fierce and beast-like in the comics which Logan was a more faithful adaptation to the character.

The way the scene is shown by her reaction of fear when Logan screams is just for a second but is such a great way to show the importance of the coming scene. By showing a character that’s been relatively unfazed most of the movie, but that subtle way of showing that. That’s in part why this movie is so good. (Sorry just a lowly student studying film and cinematography)

Dafne's facial acting is so powerful here. When she hears Logan's warcry, there's that second of "there's a real superhero here and he's (basically) my dad", but then it's replaced so quickly with her realizing what that mean he's done. She knows 2 things in that instant: that her "father" loves her and is coming to save her, and that he is also going to die here.
