Landscape and Travel Photography in Finistere, France.

As a stock travel and landscape photographer the need for me to explore is embedded within. To discover new places and capture them in the best way that I can.

During the week of 8th April to 15th April 2017 my family and I took a holiday to the department of Finistère in the region of Brittany in western France.

Southern Finistère is known as “Little Cornwall” or Petit Cornouaille and if you’ve ever visited the south west coast of the United Kingdom then it will very similar both in terms of geology and also in terms of some of the architecture of houses in the villages.

Each day we visited a number of places and I noted some potential spots for the vlog at the end of the day. Places that weren’t too far away from where we were staying.

The week ended with a visit to La Pointe du Raz which is the equivalent of Land’s End in Cornwall including the shops and visitor centre.

Note that more sequences were filmed but I didn't want the vlog to be too long.

*Note that the next vlog will be around the beginning of May.

Thanks to all that have subscribed in the last week. I've seen quite a few people have taken an interest which is great!

Keep the comments coming. It's nice interacting with the people that follow my channel and all are appreciated.

Today, I was supposed to be in Burgundy filming this week's vlog but the weather forecast just wasn't up to it so you'll have to make do with Brittany.

I'll be in the Dolomites next week and I "may" get a chance to vlog there but I'm with another photographer so it may not be possible to get anything. But we will see!

Good to see you don't really stop for holidays!!

Looking at the images you have included in your vlogs there is a certain look to them - a fairly light touch which is very attractive. How about an episode about your approach to post processing - I'm sure many would be interested.

I think some of the best photos may happen unexpectedly when on holiday as there is no pressure to meet previously decided expectations, only enjoyment. And i really enjoyed your holiday Jullian. Thank you for sharing it.

Another great blog, thanks; it's beautiful area. I wonder how you use the tilt on the TSE - do use an iterative or focus/refocus approach for these lovely landscapes?

Hello ... from Barcelona
Excuse my English, is very forgotten and helped me google translator.
I liked your videos, I am fond of photography and this summer we will go to Brittany and I want to photograph as many lighthouses as I can. I have some doubts that equipment to take me to photograph in "pointe du raz" you think that with the 70-200 mm I can get good shots of the lighthouse or maybe I should add more weight to the bag with the 150-600mm.
Thank you
