I went to sephora this spring to get some foundation to go to a wedding. The one i liked after trying them all was sold out in my shade and the employees made me the samples from the tester. I can see how folks could abuse it, but they went out of their way and really helped me out.

the perfume thing is such a weird thing to me bc it’s kinda true but it fully depends on store/ brand of perfume, guessing it spread from that. i know mugler and possibly prada have refill programs similar to that and some of them are in some sephora stores. you really just need to google it first

The 30 day return policy is the whole reason I shop there! I have only had to use it twice (once a bottle of parfume had a slow leak so I bought it and kept shopping and by the time I was done at the next store the bag was soaked, the other I tried the toofaced sweet peach setting powder and looked like an oompa loompa no matter what I did) and they have been so nice and accommodating

Perfumes have phalates and are actually bad f us use essential oils but thx i dont shop there i keep my skin clean n moisturized not much or a ny makeup😊

They changed their sample policy to 3 per customer. I had this happen at two different Sephoras.

I used to go into my Sephora store and get 3 samples once a month. Never had any of the women tell me they couldn't do it lol

Fragrance companies do ship out containers to refill perfumes but they only give a few out, not enough for every Sephora or retailer to get.
