First round “huh it looks like each colour chose a different action card”. I love that you sound surprised. Great demonstration of the game.

If you are covering a Game then it needs no rulebook. Atleast for me. Its a Perfect Match of Speed, own thoughts and volume of information to get the Flow of a Game. Thank you for your work 👍🏻

I needed comprehensive and trustworthy information on Rise and Fall gameplay - and thankfully JonGetsGames can be relied upon to come to the rescue! As with many other games before, thank you again for your great way of presenting and explaining not only the rules of a game, but also the 'feel' and flow.
And although in the end it turned out to be not really my cup of tea, this was an enjoyable hour of my time, and you conveyed the interesting and fun parts that the game has very well.

42:52 moving your Merchant, you'd have set yourself up for a larger gold payout on a later turn by placing the Merchant between Blue's City and your own, rather than in Blue's City. You'd only get 5 Coins if positioned inside Blue's city, but placed between you'd also get 3 Coins from your own City. It would almost double the Coins you'd make.

Hmmm, you sell me on games too often. Septembers a loaded month but this tutorials put this to the top of my list for now. Last month Bloodstones snuck in as my pick thanks to your tutorial, keep up the great work! Not to many though! 😅😂

I'm very excited for this. I love the tiles and map building.

It feels like a 4x game for people who are conflict averse.

This game looks right up my alley. Some of those asymmetric abilities seemed pretty powerful, wondering how balanced they are?

What an interesting looking game! The map generation and the cliff system is both intuitive and looks REALLY cool, and also I really hope that they keep the coins as they are as they look great as well! Gameplay looks fun, I'm gonna have to keep my eye on this one.

Seems like a very smart design. They've hidden a tech tree in the cycling of unit types (very clever) and the card system of knowing what all your units do is a great user interface.

I was on the fence and finally decided to watch your video. Thank you for putting it out! This game seems very repetitive, incremental, and possibly boring even 😊
It looks beautiful, however, and, the Minecraft-like world building looks interesting.

@43:00 - why wouldn't you stop the merchant on the plains between the 2 cities? Wouldn't you have been able to trade with both and earn 8 coins?

The game looks very fun and I am excited for it but at the same time its not estimated to ship out until December 2023. So I would expect it around February 2024. Looking forward to it though.
