I haven't used brackets in such a long time. I went to sublime text, then to VIM, and finally ended up on VS Code with VIM keybindings. So much easier to just use VS Code and the support is excellent.

Brackets has wonderful thing: when you worked in live server you had ability to press on website element and it automatically selected that object in code line in brackets. Is it possible somehow to do the same in VSCode?

The most important feature I was attached to in brackets was the live preview seamless interaction which vs code doesn't have and I hate this feature is snatched with brackets... In vs you have to save the code for the live preview to reload on its own but in brackets when you select a tag or css code it highlighted on the live preview and changes were just instant without need of saving the file.

My Bracket installation occupies 220 Mb, The last time I installed VS were a lot of Gb.
I do not dispute that VS is super powerful, but I am not a pro, for me to edit my own website, Bracket does a good job. If I ever put it aside, I would go back to Sublime.

Try Five Server instead of Live Server.
It is much more like the Brackets Live Preview.
