This was on mind all night and I wrote down just a few phrases and found it today. Oh how I miss her. What wonderful memories.

Oh man, the memories and tears this song has brought about. I had absolutely no idea she had a solo version. This is beautiful. Still, I love the duet with Peobo better. They both sang the heck out of this song together. Powerhouse and powerhouse.

Can we also give Natalie extra points for writing the lyrics to this beautiful song. I believe Linda Williams did the music. These two ladies worked really well together. LaCosta is a timeless classic, written by Natalie Cole and Linda Williams

This sound came into my mind just as I was about to climb in bed today (04/07/24). So I came here to find it and it sounds as beautiful as it did when I was a child. Miss and love you always Natalie ❤❤❤

The way she sings from 2:06-2:31 is really great.  Her singing on this whole sing is great.  But that part is the best.

She redid the song with Peabo Bryson. It has more of a country feel to it. It's very nice and pleasing, especially when you and that special someone are out for a Sunday drive.

If you haven't already, you should hear her version with Peabo Bryson. It's absolutely beautiful, if you can imagine it being anymore beautiful than this.
