The LG B4 OLED is LG’s entry-level TV in their 2024 OLED lineup and sits below the LG C4 OLED. It uses LG’s α8 AI Processor 4K, which is supposed to provide better image processing and can automatically optimize the TV’s picture and sound settings.

I bought a 48" B4 for my bedroom where it is wall mounted. Room is always dark so the brightness of the TV is plenty good enough. The picture really pops, even in Filmmaker mode. ISF Expert Dark Room looks to be really accurate and is my favourite picture mode. The TV is only viewed straight on so no worries about off-axis tint. For my needs, the B4 was a great choice. It looks fantastic in my room and $600 cheaper than the C4, so a no-brainer for me.

If you care more about color accuracy and high contrast than eye-searing brightness, the B4 is a great choice. It sounds good, and looks good. I have a Samsung QD-OLED in my living room so I'm used to having a high performance TV around, and the B4 holds its own in many ways.

Got mine 2 days ago. Bought it sight unseen based on positive reviews. Very impressed! 55" for $1990 AUD saving 500 compared to C4 and S90. Its a great tv. I don't feel it's lacking in brightness. Good picture straight up, no need to adjust settings. sound is ok. No buyers regrets. Thanks for the great review.

Call me crazy but I prefer (by a lot) this B4 semi-glossy screen to the absolute mirror of the C4 or G4 panels.

Just picked this up at Best buy, where they are currently cycling out the model at a $700 price reduction, literally half off. If anybody's looking to get into the OLED market with something entry level, now might be your moment!

Thanks RTINGS for reviewing the lower end TV’s, most mainstream reviewers tend to focus on the more expensive higher end units which most people aren’t able to comfortably afford, I bought the 65” LG B3 for $1299 last year and I’m still impressed every time I turn it on 😮

I got the 83’ b4 and it has 144hz, no back facing hdmi, and uses a different stand not like the one in the video

What does "almost feels like fabric to the touch" mean in terms of being able to stick LED strips to the back for bias lighting without them falling off in a couple weeks/months?

Just bought one as a PC monitor for flight sim, £899 in the UK. Superb image, great immersion.
I switched off WiFi as there's no way to stop auto software updates which I hate.

I'm considering the 77" B4 (2024) for £1999. I bought the 65" B7 (in 2018) for the same price! Better processing, updated panel and 12" more diagonally (77" dwarfs 65", that i saw in store).

Just got 1 from Best Buy for 800, love it. It’s basically a c3 damn near. 48in for my bedroom. It’s true, once u go Oled. U can’t go back to LCD tvs

83" model is different. has a better processor, thinner bezels, better wifi, different stand, more usb inputs.

I have LG A3 and its a pity that there are no proper reviews for it, as it's a region limited product. I wish to see how B3 and A3 compares.

4:17 Its said that its not bright enough to display brighter highlights or very bright scenes. I didnt realize Oled werent bright enough display brighter highlights.
