Gerry had one of the best voices ever! I feel so lucky to have grown up in the midst of the British invasion, and Gerry and the Pacemakers were among the greatest of all! RIP Gerry.

RIP... "dear man" growing up in Chicago in the 60''a I cherished the voice of this man as I would listen to ferry cross the mersey, over and over...as we sadly loose these beloved music artists, they leave behind their voices of our memories...thank you so much!

Saw these guys in Wolverhampton at a 60s night. All 4 of them sat behind a table and shook hands, had laughs and took pictures with every single person who came to see them they were amazing both as performers and as people.

I am an American and this was my favorite group back in the day.

Gerry had a most haunting voice, wrote those two great songs (Don't let the sun and Ferry) and of course sung the musical song which became an international football anthem. Quite a legacy. RIP

Always loved the original band that had the hits, a few here...Gerry later re-formed group with all new members, most of these are later re-done...original 4 were without a doubt the best....later versions of group did the songs just different enough to ruin them in my mind adding more organ and an extra lead guitar....
