Just for anyone considering getting a "small" iMac 2021 with little storage, 256 or whatever and using a hard drive for extra storage: your data transfer will only ever be as slow as your hard drive. If you need the speed of the M1 chip, which is mind-blowing in my opinion, then better opt for the bigger storage.

Great video. Just one little thing, don't replace the keyboard. (Especially the fingerprint models). As soon as you sell the matching Apple equipment, say goodbye to the rr-sale value. They'll be plenty of people that kept theirs. People will just skip past your ad as soon as they know you've cheaper out by selling. I understand the need for better customised equipment. But the value you'll lose by not saying up will make you the last re-seller at upgrade time. Great content tough.

Can’t wait for my blue iMac (16Gb RAM 8/8 core) to arrive next month for my 71st birthday. My old one has done a decade worth of great service - I also remember buying the very first Mac with floppy discs (oh dear ! You had to work that hard - one disc in for system and application, eject, another disc in to save, eject 😂 and so it went one. ‘Good old days ‘ - no, no, no 😱)

I need a hub with a SD port so I found one on Amazon from TWOPAN with 2 SD ports, 2 USB-3, 1 USB-2, and a lightening port. What is so neat about it is it attaches to the bottom of the monitor and uses 1 of my 4 ports on the back. Even neater it has faceplates in every color the iMac comes in so it looks like it was made for the iMac.
