Every single thing about his scene is so perfect... Alec fiddling with his ring while pacing around, Jace’s goofy grin when he walks in, Jace congratulating his parabatai, his brother on his wedding, Alec’s continuous smile as he talks about the wedding, Alec asking him to be his suggenes, ‘Again?’ ‘Again’ and the smile and chuckle that follow, Alec tensely announcing that he’s moving in with Magnus, Jace’s sudden disappointment, ‘Don’t be a stranger?’ With that innocent vulnerability in his voice, Alec’s reassurance, and that hug at the end, both of them all smiles.

One of the things I'm gonna miss from Shadowhunters is the Parabatai and brotherly bond between Jace and Alec; between all the buttkickings, fights, arguments, obstacles, and challenges, there was nothing these two wouldn't do for the other and how far these two are willing to go for the other...Parabatai always and brotherly love forever, Jace and Alec.

Jace is such a soft soul. Throughout the series he puts on a facade of a tough emotionless fighting machine but the way his heart hurts time and again move me to tears. In 3x20 his face when he realized his home is being destroyed, even though he had his issues with the Clave, had me on the floor. Alec and Jace always lived under the same roof since Jace came to live with the Lightwoods and this would be the first time that Alec would not be right there. His vulnerability and then his joy after Alec reassures him is astoundingly beautiful. Jace needs nothing but love all day to put his broken soul together.
