i just want to say thank you for being such an amazing show! so rare to see accurate representation and depictions of real-world issues and this show has done so much than just show that. i really felt impacted and loved, and being in this fandom for a short amount of time and to see it end just like that is so heartbreaking. sadly, all good things must come to an end. :) if anyone of you ever come across anyone who has just entered this fandom (or any fandom rather) do not shun them, bc they are as impacted by the show just as much as you are. thank you, shadowhunters. for being the one thing people go to for joy, love and support. i really cannot tell you how much this show means to me. i recently just became a part of the fandom, and my time here has been so wonderful. thank you SO MUCH!! This is by far the only show that will ever get me this emotional or happy or sad or angry. I have been with this show since the first trailer ever came out for seasons 1 and I was there even before it happened, I was there when the individual movie happened as well. I love this show beyond pieces, and having to see it leave breaks my heart. But, I'm not going to frown that's its ending, I'm going to be happy it happened in the first place. thank you shadowhunters for showing such strong actors yet not afraid to show their vulnerability, non-toxic masculinity especially with jace and alec’s parabatai bond, intense familial love between all the characters, no bitchy jealousies. also thank you for the little bit of indonesian shown. southeast asia rarely gets featured. i wish all these could be further explored, but “smile because it happened”. here’s to shadowhunters paving the way to more great characters and relationships in future shows!
