I got the iPhone xs and apple watch SE for the only purpose of being a health gauge device. No fancy notifications, no calls no phone things. Got a case and screen protector to boot and the best one purchase apps for both of them. I expect nothing more from them. From that angle, they outperform my wildest expectations that such devices offer. Battery life may be of a concern since I charge the watch when I shower EVERYDAY till time to sleep thus last me 1-2 days. Not sure about your mileage since you might be getting the same. Overall it's been a huge boost to my life, if you limit your expectations
