In this video I will be talking about some of the key differences between investing in a US total stock market etf compared to a S&P 500 etf, and which may have an edge over the other. I will also be including my top picks for ETFS representing both the total market and S&P 500 for those interested.

I use S&P 500 as my main holding in my 401K, I think it’s the best long term investment personally. I’d probably choose a total market fund if I had an option but instead I include small and mid cap exposure to compensate
