Elon's Starship Is In BIG TROUBLE With FAA! What happened???
SpaceX is, for all intents and purposes, the current state of American space flight. Sure, there’s that Boeing rocket, but we’ve all seen how that’s going—Yes, it’s a disaster.
SpaceX is now how NASA gets things done.
However, by no means is the path to SpaceX's new glory without its own obstacles, and one of the biggest rocks in the road is the government's FAA agency.
Recently, the company faced a BIG TROUBLE with the FAA, and this could affect the next Starship flight.
So, what happened?
Let's find out on today's episode of Alpha Tech:

Elon's Starship Is In BIG TROUBLE With FAA! What happened???
It seems that the development of SpaceX hasn’t pleased everyone. As we know, to expand its operations at the Starbase in Texas, SpaceX has proposed to the national environmental agency, the FAA, to increase the number of launches and landings of the massive Starship to 25 times per year.
Of course, this also means the construction of various engineering structures to support these launches, such as launch pads, towers, and systems for fuel and water supply. Keep in mind that the head of Tesla also wants his rocket company to have the same kind of massive power as the production and sale of electric cars.

The trouble is not with the FAA but the White House.

I'm so tired of all this regulatory limitation. Do they not realize how essential it is that we become multi-planetary, and how little time we probably have to get to that point? I just don't get it.

SpaceX should just more 12 miles offshore and construct a massive platform to launch their ships and bypass all the A-hole agencies.

FAA & Enviromentalists, SpaceX goes well beyond safety. Enough. Let SpaceX evolve human exploration.

The phrase “pave paradise and put up a parking lot” is from Joni Mitchell's 1970 song “Big Yellow Taxi, ” not Jimmy Buffett

SpaceX should suspend all NASA launches in order to review safety. Yeah. Until US government agencies approve Starship 5 launch. Just put all NASA and DOD launches on hold.

From what I heard, it was Blue Origin & Boeing that were laying the complaints out of spite.

i dont understand why people are complaining about the deluge system. there was an investigation and a finding of no significant impact. and the epa allowed up to 30 uses of the deluge system per year

The delays initiated by the Fed are being done to level the playing field, letting the slower competitors try to catch up.
A bit like all the rule-making that NASCAR did to level the playing field - and we all see how that turned out.

Why wouldn't the FAA not allow 25 a year? I used to canvas for Greenpeace so it would seem I'm pro-environment but the show must go on.
