Day 3 of my journey to Paris 2024 Olympic marathon and OURA says I'm dying, and I feel it.

Running slow can actually help you get fit! In this video, I'll show you how to make running slow work for you, so you can reach your fitness goals faster.

Running slow may seem like a slow process, but in reality it's the best way to get into a good running rhythm and build strength and endurance. By running slowly, you'll not only get fit, but you'll also improve your recovery time and avoid injury. So give running slow a try and see for yourself how it can help you reach your fitness goals faster! Especially when you can tell your body isn't quite right, and perhaps some kind of illness or tiredness is creeping in on the body.

Sleep lot, and rest can help speed up the recovery process.

A look into the running school I've launched, in a hope to help educate people and show them how to be better at running. Showing what I've done for 15-20 years as a professional and what helped take me from a troubled kid in Belfast to a 2.09 marathon and the start line of the Olympic Games. Deep dive into the 5 core areas that have helped me continue to progress as an athlete and allow me to set such big goals. If you're an advanced runner, or simply following a Couch to 5K program, this school can help you. For advanced runners the school can you learn tips and tricks to improve all events from 5k to marathon. If you're new to running and want to start a Couch to 5K program, then this is the school for you! In this Priming Session, I'll give you an overview of the school and help you set realistic goals for your first runs.

It’s great to watch your journey. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your honesty about how you are feeling with your training workload as this helps me to relate and learn about how to judge my own workload. You have lots of people who want to see you do well! All the best!

Scullion, these are great. I'm really loving these daily Vlogs. I've just started my training to try and get a marathon PB in Belfast in 2023.👍

Stephen, loving the videos. You are sharing some great insight into a mental and physical journey that many of us just don't get to see and have a full appreciation for. Thanks for bringing us on the journey! You may want to look into taking some Vitamin D too, I'm sure it will pass soon.

Love the journey!
Do you do some sort of warm-up for all runs, only hard runs, or depending on feel? And when do you work on drills throughout the week?

Great video! Shouldn't you set up all your running gear (hat, gloves) on the night before you run?!!

When you talk about easy run. How easy do you run? Are you a HR or pace driven? Great videos by the way.

great content.. my new running go to.. off beat question.. what do you use to keep your hair that length.. i use a zero setting clipper set but it doesnt get quite short enough to not have to cut again in a few days.. i also don't want to go bald razor ... your length seems perfect for easy time management to focus more efficiently on runs.

Yeah. I think you've gotten something. Let's hope it's just a cold. My RHR48 went up to 55 immediately after my last marathon. I was sick 2 days later. 6 weeks later I still have a cough which is ultra annoying. Never was covid as I tested daily because I was OS in Melbourne Aus to do the Marathon and visit my family and I didn't want to give my older sisters covid. Not had covid yet but I don't have a life but running alone. I was wondering what was your HR on your run in relation %of max or lactate for an easy run?

Everytime time you upload a video with a title like this, I expected that you'll go in depth in to the material. Now I just wasted 7;56 minutes. I would suggest and advise to be more educative otherwise it just a click bait videos. Peach and love
