I really liked the Wii U. As awkward looking as the controller tablet was it felt really good in the hands.

Great list! Here are some other fun Coop games for the system that I enjoyed over time with friends or with my sons.
Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Coop: Someone on the Gamepad while the other on the tv
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: 4 player Coop fun.
Rayman Legends: Only version of the game that Supports 5 player Coop.
Sonic Lost World: My sons and I enjoyed the Coop on this one.
Tank Tank Tank: I have good memories of parties of us working together to try to take down the large monsters in this one.
Sleep Hit here: Smurfs 2 by Wayforward- Surprisingly fun Coop game with your kiddos.
Finally, Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper and Hyrule Warriors - Both fun muso coop games where one player has the TV and the other on the Gamepad working together.

I only use the wii u for playing wii gallery shooters so far
